DESCRIPTION:Register today for the FREE Washington Fly-in\, taking place on June 22nd from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in Eastsound\, Wash. Don’t miss this opportunity to network with volunteers over lunch and a safety session. The event will be hosted by the Orcas Island Fire Department – 45 Lavender Ln\, Eastsound. \nPlane parking will be available at Orcas Island Airport (147 Schoen Lane Eastsound\, WA 98245). If you would like to stay the weekend\, overnight aircraft parking and camping spots at the airport are available (on the grass parking area). See the Orcas website for details and cost. (https://www.portoforcas.com/) \nThis year’s safety seminar will be led by Bruce Williams\, a flight instructor\, aviation writer\, and former Microsoft manager who played major roles in the company’s highly successful Flight Simulator programs.
