DESCRIPTION:RUNWAY 5K: Virtual and In-Person – A Benefit Run/Walk for Angel Flight West\nThanks to the overwhelming support we had for our race across the country and on the runway last year\, we are proud to announce that the Angel Flight West Run for the Angels will be both a virtual and in-person race again this year!  \nWHAT IS A VIRTUAL RACE? \nA virtual race is a race that eliminates large gatherings and follows social distancing guidelines. It can be run (or walked) in any location you choose\, whether in your own neighborhood\, on your treadmill\, or in the hallways of any venue\, you can imagine.  \nYou get to run your own race\, at your own pace\, and time it yourself\, any time between 8/26/2023 at 9:00 am and 09/02/2023 at 11:59 pm. You will upload your time and be placed in the virtual race standings based on your age. \nAll registrants will receive a free T-shirt and a flight pin with the year and date of the race. Plus\, be entered into a giveaway drawing! \n  \nFREE OPPORTUNITY DRAWING – Two Round-Trip Tickets on Alaska Airlines \nEvery adult registration from California and Colorado is entered in a free opportunity drawing for Two Round-Trip Tickets on Alaska Airlines valid through 2023. (Must enter valid CA or CO address to enter) \n  \nEVENT DETAILS \n\nVirtual Race – Online/ Anywhere!\n\nRace start time: Saturday\, August 26th at 8:30 a.m. Your time needs to be submitted by September 2nd at 11:59 p.m. MST.\nVirtual FLY-K: Fly the pattern while getting your required takeoffs and landings! Fly between  August 26th and September 2nd and tag us on social media with #RunAngelRun2023. View the flight pattern here!\n\n\nIn-Person Race at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport:\n\nSaturday\, August 26th\, 2023 at 8:30 a.m. (start time).
