Welcome, New Earth Angels!
We’re glad you’re here. This page is a resource for new Earth Angels navigating the orientation process and volunteer drivers who have completed orientation and want to prepare to drive their first mission.
Transportation challenges create one of the most daunting barriers to healthcare—a barrier second only to the cost. As a volunteer, you’ll make an immeasurable difference by driving people between airports and their medical facilities. Each day, our network of volunteer drivers donate their time, fuel, and cars to ensure people can make it the final leg of their journey to care.
Thank you for being part of the solution to ease the burden of transportation for families across the West.
Where Does AFW Need Volunteer Drivers?
Angel Flight West proudly serves 12 Western states by helping patients travel long distances between their homes and medical care. Typically, our patients fly from rural towns to the following metropolitan areas to access treatment. We need Earth Angels who are willing to drive between local airports and healthcare facilities in and around these cities.
Denver, CO
Los Angeles Basin, CA
Phoenix, AZ
Portland, OR
Salt Lake City, UT
San Diego, CA
San Francisco Bay Area
Seattle, WA
Spokane, WA
From time to time, we may have needs for Earth Angels in other areas throughout the West. However, these requests are far less.
